Sometimes you just need a pop of color to cheer you up on a cloudy day. Working in layers, making marks and looking at the contrast between organic and geometric shapes brought a pair of small paintings into being. Having worked on paper in watercolor paint in a similar vain during the summer, I finished up with two 10" x 10" acrylic gems to complete this mini series of paintings. Look for "Geometric Blue" to find it's sibling.
